Adobe Spark for Authors

A look at how to use Adobe Spark to promote your eBooks, online course, and other digital products.

Adobe Spark really is a game changer for authors, content creators, and online instructors alike

As any self-published author knows only too well, once you have published your book that is by no means the end of the story. In fact, it is not even the beginning of the end.

You just have a different type of work to do, If you want to be in any way successful that is. You now need to take off your writer’s hat and replace it with your marketer’s hat, which is something that not many writers are comfortable doing. And the same goes for online teachers with their courses or designers, artists, craftsmen and many other types of creatives, who now find that a huge percentage of their time is taken up with all the “promotional stuff”.

This course begins with a number of tips and ideas on how authors, teachers and other creatives can use Adobe Spark for promoting their books, courses and other digital products.

The course then continues with a practical, over-the-shoulder look at how you can easily and quickly create these different promotional materials.

David James Ault

My name is David James Ault and I am a British ex-pat living in Slovakia, in the heart of Europe, with my wonderful Slovak wife, our three children and our English Bullterrier, Shaggy.

Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in European Business, the first part of my career was spent in marketing, especially in the tourism industry, and during that time I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, at the CIM.

In 2001, I moved from the UK to Slovakia, where I set up a tourism portal about Slovakia and wrote travel related articles and books. I also began writing my first novel.

At that time I taught English as a Foreign Language, as well as Business English Mentoring, and then in 2005 I started working as a Freelance Translator, before finally setting up my own translation company.

During the last 15 years I have written a number of non-fiction books within a variety of niches and set up a number of successful websites to promote my various interests. More recently, I have also been writing fiction and non-fiction books for teenagers and young adults and, in January 2015, I set myself the goal of becoming a full-time author within the next two years. I am currently creating a series of online courses to impart some of the knowledge I have learned over the years to my students.
